Consists of photocopies of articles and papers written by Trent that deal with Boston made silver and silversmiths in the 18th century. Pof particular note are a guide to resources in Boston, Ma., photocopies of articles on Robert Sanderson, a copy of the diaries of John Hull, Suffolk County probate records, and a paper written by Trent for a class taught by Charles Montgomery.

John Hull (1624-1683) was a colonial merchant, public servant, mintmaster, and silversmith. He came to America from England as a child, established himself in Boston, and became a wealthy and influential leader in the Massachusetts colony.
